Since there is no way to make a 4 chord (F) on the lower position one frequently substitutes the relative minor chord, Am [see illustration for this]

The proper 4 chord, F, is made by baring [sic] the
5th fret.

The proper 5 chord, G, ----[is made by barring]----7th fret.

Also this is a G chord [see illustration]

 

To make a G7 chord

 

I like to teach guitar to people. People, or students who learn. Nobody likes to teach somebody who does not learn because that is not teaching & not learning.
