A couple of notes:
The chant leads in on the
final eighth of the preceding bar. This is interesting;
listen to the CD for
details. It is also available on “Return of Repressed” Anthology.
Despite being a duet it goes well on a single guitar. The only part I found
difficult
(initially) was smooth exchanges on the fingering on section I. It’s a
great song to
play and Les did a good job from memory; just don’t get stuck in a trance
repeating the chant like I did.

Here's Fahey's "Jaya
Shiva Shankarah" from "Old Fashioned Love", which
is one of my favorites. This was played in a duet (with Woody Mann?) on
the LP, and I have to confess that this transcription is from memory,
and I didn't do a sit-down with the recording. Let me know if you have
any problems uploading the tab.
