Note : Varrick Records was named after the eponymous character played by Walter Matthau in the movie “Charlie Varrick”, directed by Don Siegel in 1973. In the movie Charlie was a crop-sprayer and his slogan was “The Last of the Independants” which was also adopted by Varrick records. |
